The website calculates shipping based on the dollar amount of the order, not actual items selected. We will make every effort to ship your order by the most cost effective means. Flannel fabric and sale items may increase the shipping cost. If you are only ordering a pattern, we will ship it First Class Mail. Due to new USPS regulations on flat rate envelopes, we are no longer able to ship fabric in the regular flat rate envelopes. USPS has a new "padded" flat rate envelope, which holds approximately 8 yards of regular cotton fabric (3 yards flannel) for $5.70. Orders under $10.00 will ship via First Class Mail (this does NOT include clearance/sale items).
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
The United States Postal Service does NOT provide tracking for International Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes. Shipments are therefore at buyer's own risk. Up and Away Quilts is NOT responsible for packages lost in transit. ANY CUSTOMS, DUTIES or TAXES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.
Returns
We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with our products and service. We have a 14 day return policy on items you are not satisfied with. Items returned without prior authorization will NOT be refunded. Items returned to us marked "refused" will NOT be refunded. Refunds will be issued once items are returned to us in a resalable condition. Refunds will not be given for shipping & handling charges. Sale items and cut yardage may NOT be returned. All returns must be in original condition and packaging. Returns that have a smoke odor will not be refunded. A 20% restocking fee is charged for all returns or any canceled orders that have already been processed. Notions may be returned if they are unopened, in the original packaging. Due to copyright laws, patterns and books may not be returned.
